About Me…

My interest in medicine began with a dedication to accessibility, sparked by researching language acquisition in hard-of-hearing children. This experience inspired me to study American Sign Language and volunteer as a residential camp counselor for individuals with developmental disabilities to better understand and advocate for the community. Working closely with individuals navigating complex neurological and developmental conditions ultimately solidified my passion for child neurology. My diverse background, spanning classical performing arts, neurolinguistics research, and healthcare policy advocacy, greatly influences the legacy I aim to create in the field.

I strive to be an innovative leader, promoting considerate, patient-centered care through a vested interest in research, teaching, and mentorship. I hope to be challenged, grow as a physician, and contribute to a team dedicated to maximizing patients' developmental potential and independence.

Outside of the hospital, I am a 200-Hour YTT certified yoga instructor who enjoys hiking and visiting National Parks with my two dogs: Kadet & Kannoli. I also find joy in tackling hands-on projects, watching every romantic-comedy book adaptation, and throwing clay on the pottery wheel.

Three people smiling and sharing a moment, two women on either side of a woman in the middle. The woman in the middle is smiling broadly, while the other two are kissing her on each cheek. They are dressed in formal attire with colorful patterns and accessories, and there are blue and white balloons in the background, indicating a celebration or special event.
